PATHS TO PEACE
Tourism can do more than show you the world — it can help change it.
Paths to Peace (P2P) is more than a project. It’s a youth-powered movement using community tourism as a tool for peacebuilding, social healing, and real-world change. We're empowering young people — especially those from conflict-affected or socially divided regions — to lead local and global efforts to foster understanding, connection, and purpose through tourism.
As a Youth Peace Leader, you will take part in four workshops and mentoring sessions. During the program, you will explore real world examples, exchange ideas with your peers, and develop your own project that connects tourism and peace in creative ways.

EPISODE #42: Armenia at a Crossroads: Elections, Russia, and the EU. Christoph Bilban and Hannes Meissner
In this episode of Peace Matters, we discuss Armenia’s upcoming parliamentary elections and the country’s changing geopolitical orientation at a time of regional uncertainty. How democratic is Armenia’s political system today, and what is at stake in the upcoming elections? Is Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan likely to stay in power, and how are the elections influenced by the unresolved conflict with Azerbaijan? We also examine the growing role of the EU in Armenia, Russia’s reaction to Armenia’s gradual westward shift, and whether the country can realistically balance relations between Moscow and Brussels.
