Belgrade Security Conference 2023: Youth Perspectives on the EU

In October 2023 the International Institute for Peace, together with the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy, organised the Belgrade Security Conference 2023 side program “Young Leaders Conference”. During this time, a group of young professionals, students, or activists with a background in or a demonstrated interest in the fields of security, reconciliation, politics, or youth policies engaged with experienced psychologists and facilitators to delve into the pressing issues affecting youth in their respective countries. This exploration is guided by their personal experiences and professional backgrounds, where applicable. In this context we asked those young people for their opinions about the European Union. This is what they said!
